Initially, Coppin wasn’t on his college radar—until he received an early admission email and applied on a whim. His acceptance and subsequent offer of a full-ride Presidential Scholarship changed everything. With three siblings already in college, this scholarship made higher education attainable for Adebayo and his family.

What stood out most upon arriving at Coppin was the tight-knit community. Professors knew him by name, and the campus environment felt familial and inclusive. These relationships helped him grow into a confident leader.

Adebayo’s involvement has been extensive. He serves as Business Manager for the Student Government Association—its only male officer—while also balancing roles as a DJ and a member of the Zeta Gamma Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He credits these experiences with strengthening his leadership skills, teaching him time management, and exposing him to diverse perspectives, particularly through collaboration with an all-female SGA executive board.

Recognized early on as Freshman of the Year, Adebayo’s record of achievement reflects a student fully engaged in campus life. He envisions a future that blends technology, innovation, and leadership—fields he feels Coppin has well prepared him for.

To donors, Adebayo offers sincere gratitude:
“Your generosity is not just about education—it’s about creating pathways. Your support helps students realize their potential and inspires us to dream bigger.”
